All frames offered by EyeglassUniverse.com are covered for one year from the date of the order for defect in material and workmanship by the manufacturer, subject to the following conditions:

1)            Defect in material or manufacture

We will replace any frame that develops or exhibits a manufacturing defect for one year after the original order date if our inspection can confirm a defect or a flaw attributable to a manufacturing defect, processing errors, or material failure.  We will replace the frame for the original lenses and prescription at no additional cost to the original customer. 

2)            Normal wear and tear, chemical reaction, neglect, abuse, poor handling not covered.

Normal wear and tear is not included nor is chemical reaction with skin, cosmetics, chemical, or cleaning agent that is incompatible with the frame.  Neglect, abuse, or poor handling by the wearer is also not included as determined within our sole discretion and judgment.  Accidental or intentional damage is specifically excluded from all basic warranties.

3)            One replacement under this basic warranty allowed during the life of the Rx.

Manufacturing defects covered under this policy specifically limit the exchange of a defective product to one event during the life of the Rx order or one year, whichever is less.

4)            Limitation of Liability.

Should your frame style or color choice be unavailable, or the eyeglass frame has been discontinued and we are unable to replace the frame originally purchased, our maximum liability for warranty replacements during a period of one year from the date of the original order is the original retail price of your frame which you can take as a credit towards a replacement frame or as a refund back to the original method of payment.

No other discounts, coupon, or promotional code shall apply.  Original frame will not be returned after adjustment for warranty under this policy section.
